RESULT
new moderator for comp.os.os2.announce
The Last Call for Comments (LCC) on 2010-05-17 initiated a five-day
period for final comments. Following this comment period, the Big-8
Management Board has decided by vote to appoint Mark Dodel to moderator
of comp.os.os2.announce.
Vote results (yes-no-abstain): 10-0-0
RATIONALE:
Probe posts showed no result. According to Google's archive the last
regular post was approved on 2007-03-15.
Mark Dodel and the other moderators for the OS/2-eCS News Service volun-
teered to moderate comp.os.os2.announce. They intend to use the existing
TYPO3 installation at http://www.ecomstationnews.com/. Connecting the
group to this news system means that the group will not only receive
news posted to itself but also news submitted to the system via other
channels.
