              REQUEST FOR DISCUSSION (RFD)
              moderated group sci.psychology.consciousness

This is a formal Request for Discussion (RFD) to remove moderated
newsgroup sci.psychology.consciousness.

RATIONALE:

Russ Allbery has been running an autoresponder on the submission address
for sci.psychology.consciousness, telling people to use the corresponding
PSYCHE-D mailing list instead (which was gated to the newsgroup).

According to http://www.lsoft.com/SCRIPTS/WL.EXE?XH=LISTSERV.UH.EDU
this mailing does not exist anymore. Looking at groups.google.com reveals
that the newsgroup was unsubscribed from the mailing list in 2006 and
there has been zero traffic in the moderated newsgroup since then, except
for one bit of forge-approved spam.

NEWSGROUPS LINE:

sci.psychology.consciousness	On the nature of consciousness. (Moderated)

DISTRIBUTION:

news.announce.newgroups
news.groups.proposals
sci.psychology.consciousness
