RATIONALE: rec.arts.tv.comedy.colbert-report

With Stephen Colbert's recent announcement that he will run for President of
the United States, and his just-published book "I Am America (And So Can
You!)", the attention that he is receiving from the media has never been
greater. Currently, discussion of the Colbert Report is constrained to
an alt.* group dedicated to the show's sister program, the Daily Show; but
a more specific, Big-8 newsgroup promises to encourage further discussion
to a wider audience.

CHARTER:

rec.arts.tv.comedy.colbert-report is an unmoderated group for the discussion
of the Comedy Central show "The Colbert Report", and other topics
regarding Stephen Colbert.

Posters are expected to abide by normal Usenet standards of decorum, and
to ignore articles intended to disrupt the group. The usual suspects are
prohibited (spam, binaries, direct advertising, etc.)
