This is a formal Request For Discussion (RFD) to remove the
newsgroup comp.soft-sys.nextstep.
PROCEDURE:
The B8MB plans to begin voting on this proposal after five days. Please
offer any final discussion or comments before the end of this waiting

following the end of the voting period.

SUMMARY OF DISCUSSION:
No comments were received. During the discussion period there was a
post to the group announcing an ebay auction of an Openstep 4.2 suite.
RATIONALE: remove comp.soft-sys.nextstep
comp.soft-sys.nextstep has had 1 on-topic messages in the past 11
months (though possibly more related to comp.sys.sun.misc).
This RFD is part of a proposal to remove 31 low-traffic former-INET

Note: the proposal to remove two of the 31 groups, comp.os.rsts and
comp.std.announce, has been withdrawn.
HISTORY:
comp.soft-sys.nextstep has created as an INET group in June 1992. It
was promoted to the standard Big 8 distribution in October 2000.
