There was one meta-comment about the overall worthwhile removal of newsgroups. RATIONALE: Remove comp.sources.apple2 The last approved message was in February 1997. There are other more suitable means of distributing program sources, so comp.sources.apple2 is not a suitable candidate for conversion to an unmoderated newsgroup. HISTORY: The newsgroup comp.sources.apple2 was created in September 1990, with the first approved message in September 1990. I could locate no charter for the newsgroup, The newsgroup line was: comp.sources.apple2 Source code and discussion for the Apple2.
