- RL has set up most of the moderation system and is now liaising with Terje regarding e-mail aliases.
- New signing key for news.groups.proposals
- RL still to update our STUMP instance to sign posts with both keys (for the next six months at least), add the new key to the news.groups.proposals wiki page, and announce the changeover on news.groups.proposals . We can stop signing with the old key after six months.

- comp.binaries.cbm : RL pinged the prospective moderator on 2025-06-20.
- rec.arts.anime.creative : RL pinged the prospective moderator on 2025-06-20.
- soc.sexuality.general (non-functioning moderated group): TM pinged two of the former moderators on 2025-07-15.
- soc.culture.jewish.moderated (non-functioning moderated group): TM pinged a former moderator on 2025-07-15, who confirmed he's no longer interested in moderating. TM pinged a former moderator's nominee on 2025-07-15. Some further discussion on the 2nd RFD from a former participant indicating that the group should be deleted as it's unlikely to attract its former community back. Agreed that TM would post the LCC now.
- comp.sys.wearables : On 2025-06-20 RL pinged Greg Pfeil for an update on the moderation infrastructure. In any case, agreed to wait several more months for further action.
- comp.protocols.dns.bind : On 2025-05-02 MM pinged Dan Mahoney for an update on the mail-to-news gateway. No response yet. In any case, agreed to wait several more months for further action.
- Unused comp.unix.* groups
- MM circulated a draft RFD.
- TM cut down the RFD to the five agreed groups (comp.unix.bsd.386bsd.misc , comp.unix.bsd.bsdi.misc , comp.unix.sys5.misc , comp.unix.sys5.r4 , and comp.unix.user-friendly ), tweaked the wording and formatting, and added some missing headers and sections.
- The draft RFD still needs "History of the group" sections for each of the five groups, with information gleaned from the ISC archives. TM can do this in August; MM or RL could do this earlier if they have time.
- Agreed that we would split the RFD into three separate RFDs in order to facilitate cross-posting and archiving the announcements. (The nan-archive script accepts only a single newsgroup name or identifier.)

- Decommissioning of the mail.big-8.org domain and of Mail-in-a-Box, Owncloud, etc.
- TM backed up four of JE's presentations stored on the cloud service. One of these JE had already uploaded to our wiki. On 2025-07-15 TM wrote to JE asking if we should post the other three presentations on the wiki.
- MM removed Mail-in-a-Box and some associated cron jobs.

- TM: No update yet on GPG signing best practices on Savannah
- Thunderbird 128 contact deferred given Julien's comments on INN.

- JE approved one of RL's OpenCollective expense claims; RL to remind him about the other one. JE and RL are in the process of signing and submitting a form to transfer the web hosting account from JE to RL.
- E-mail from Paul Schleck re Matthew Vernon's version of WebSTUMP. Agreed to defer.
- Misc
- E-mail from Paul Schleck with an update on commercial news providers. RL updated our wiki page accordingly.
- Agreed to reschedule some upcoming meetings to start 45 minutes earlier in order to avoid conflicts with TM's other meetings.
