The Last Call for Comments (LCC) on 2010-03-07 initiated a five-day
period for final comments. Following this comment period, the Big-8
Management Board has decided by vote to remove moderated group
misc.industry.safety.personal.

CHARTER OF MISC.INDUSTRY.SAFETY.PERSONAL
For discussion of all aspects of personal protective equipment (ppe),
defined as any device(s) worn or held by the user in order to provide
him (her) protection whilst performing the given task.
It is open especially, but not exclusively, to manufacturers,
distributors, testing and certifying organisations, government
departments, safety officers and users of ppe, including professional
associations of the foregoing.
Advertising of products and services directly related to ppe is
allowed, but is limited to 50 words of text in any posting, plus
references to contact details, addresses, websites etc.
Binaries are not permitted.
The group will be moderated, in order to prevent articles not
conforming to the charter from being posted.
HISTORY OF THE GROUP:
