Present: RL, MM, TM

  • Administration
    • comp.lang.asm.x86 comp.lang.asm.x86 on Google Groups: RL and Terje met virtually on 2026-06-22 to set up STUMP on his infrastructure. As this was on shared hosting that doesn't allow for system-wide software installation, RL needed to write some scripts. RL is now awaiting config details of Terje's news server for posting approved articles. Once these have been applied and tested, the Board can post a moderator found announcement.
    • misc.taxes.moderated misc.taxes.moderated on Google Groups: RL still to set up STUMP on our infrastructure and liaise with the moderator.
    • rec.arts.anime.creative rec.arts.anime.creative on Google Groups: The meeting reviewed and collectively revised MM's draft RFD. TM to apply the changes, perform some light copy-editing, and then post it.
    • rec.humor.funny rec.humor.funny on Google Groups: Still awaiting details from Brad Templeton on moderation details so that we can set up STUMP on our infrastructure.
    • soc.sexuality.general soc.sexuality.general on Google Groups: MM still to draft an RfD to remove the group.
  • Infrastructure
    • Panix confirmed their VPS hosting includes IPv4 and IPv6 and access to their NNTP server. Agreed that we would migrate our web and e-mail hosting there in or after late July when TM and RL are available.
  • Software/funding
    • MM drew the Board's attention to posting statistics for the de.* hierarchy and suggested that we could produce something similar for the Big 8.
    • E-mail from Paul Schleck with a link to the Albasani Project Repositories. TM noted that he still has an image of Roman Racine's disk and could check whether he has anything missing from the Repositories (e.g., VCS histories).
  • Misc
    • E-mail from Paul Schleck with a link to the r/ClassicUsenet Wiki & FAQ. RL to send a reply.
    • Agreed to cancel the meeting on 2026-07-16 as TM and RL can't make it.
    • TM gave advance apologies for the meeting on 2026-07-09.
