    • comp.binaries.cbm comp.binaries.cbm on Google Groups: No response yet to RL's e-mail to the prospective moderator on 2026-05-07. TM to solicit volunteer moderators from Commodore forums.

    • comp.sys.wearables comp.sys.wearables on Google Groups: RL to ping Greg Pfeil for an update on the moderation infrastructure.
    • misc.taxes.moderated misc.taxes.moderated on Google Groups: Response from Jonathan Kamens noting that he is no longer responsible for hosting the asktax.org domain, and giving a contact address for the last known moderator. MM contacted the moderator, who reports that he has nothing to do with the technical side of the moderation system and that the group is effectively dead. MM to reply asking whether he would be willing to continue moderating if we could find someone to handle the technical side.
    • rec.arts.anime.creative rec.arts.anime.creative on Google Groups: RL contacted the prospective moderator on 2026-05-07 to ask for a status update and whether they are still interested in moderating the group. Agreed to wait until 2026-05-21 for a reply; then RL to write one last time and wait up to two more weeks for a reply. Failing this, Board to issue an RfD to remove the group.
    • rec.humor.funny rec.humor.funny on Google Groups: TM to ping Brad Templeton about the status of his moderation system and to offer to host one ourselves.
    • soc.sexuality.general soc.sexuality.general on Google Groups: TM to ping two of the former moderators.
