Minutes/2025-06-20
From Usenet Big-8 Management Board
Present: TM, RL, MM
- Administration
- comp.lang.asm.x86
- RL pinged Terje on 2025-06-20 regarding setting up a moderation system with Terje.
- news.groups.proposals
- RL still investigating the best practices for transitioning to a new signing key. TM suggested a transitional period during which both keys are used to sign messages, after which we might revoke the old key. RL to check whether the e-mail address for the old key ID, ngp-approval-key@ngp.big-8.org, is set up to autorespond with the public key. TM suggested that for the new key, we may want to change e-mail associated with the primary ID to something like ngp-approval-key@big-8.org so as to avoid use of a mail subdomain (and the associated problems).
