[The following is an official communication from the Big-8 Management
Board. Please note that followups point at news.groups.]

The Big-8 Management Board has recently relaunched its web presence at
<https://www.big-8.org>. The website has been redesigned and its
content reorganized in a way that we hope is more appealing and useful
to visitors. We are currently in the process of revising the policies,
guides, and other information in order to bring them up to date, and
have been adding some new material peripheral to the Board's mission,
such as tutorials aimed at newcomers to Usenet. Feedback on this work
in progress is welcome.

We also want to announce that the Board has, as of 25 April 2020,
resumed regular (approximately weekly) meetings. Out of a desire to
demonstrate the Board's transparency and activity, we recently decided
to make the minutes of these meetings available to the public. They can
now be found on our website: <https://www.big-8.org/wik/Meeting_minutes>
