There was some discussion about reconnecting the newsgroup to the<br />
RFE/RL mailing list. However, there were no comments from the<br />
newsgroups which presumably would have the most interest in the<br />
content of the RFE/RL news digest.<br />

<br />
The last approved message was in December 1994.<br />
<br />
The Newsline is still available via the WWW or by e-mail at<br />
http://www.rferl.org/newsline/ so the newsgroup is an unused redundancy.<br />
