This is annoying, because the open nature and widespread user<br /> base of the Big-8 could offer an excellent forum to discuss the issues of<br /> the day, especially in comparison to other modern discussion forums (such<br /> as the talk-back area of many news articles). This proposal is an attempt<br /> to fix that oversight.<br /> <br /> <br /> CHARTER:<br /> <br /> talk.current-events is an unmoderated newsgroup to discuss the world<br /> events of the day.
