The Last Call for Comments (LCC) on 2010-02-21 initiated a five-day
period for final comments.  Following this comment period, the Big-8
Management Board has decided by vote to remove moderated group
comp.windows.x.announce.

Vote results (yes-no-abstain): 10-0-0

This group will be moderated by the staff of X Consortium, Inc.
Traffic will be limited to major X announcements, such as the
following:

  Public Review of a proposed X Consortium standard
  Adoption of a new X Consortium standard
  Upcoming public X conferences, exhibitions, or meetings
  A new release of a major public system, toolkit, or application
  A major patch or modification to X software
